From 28 to 30 August, the Explanada del Muelle in Puerto de la Cruz once again becomes the meeting point between the Canary Islands and Bavaria. It’s the Oktoberfest Puerto de la Cruz — also known as Semana Bávara (Bavarian Week) — and Enoloca, Bodegas Monje’s craft beer line, will be there for another year.

Enoloca APA and Brown: what’s in your glass
Enoloca comes from the same place as Bodegas Monje’s wines: El Sauzal, Tenerife. Two craft beers, each with its own character:
- Enoloca APA: an American Pale Ale with a hoppy character, citrus notes and a bitterness that’s easy to drink. The one to go for if you like a more aromatic profile.
- Enoloca Brown: a toasted body, caramel malts and a rounder finish. The choice for anyone who prefers something with a bit more weight.
This isn’t craft beer made “just to try something different”: it’s built on the same principles as our winemaking — a carefully controlled process, a product with real character, and the intention that whoever drinks it learns to tell exactly what they’re tasting.
