The British magazine has selected twelve wineries in Europe as the best to visit, not only for their wines but also for the experiences they offer. Among the chosen wineries are two Spanish ones, Bodegas Muga (La Rioja) and Bodegas Monje.
This is due, they mention, to the variety of our offer: food, picnics, mojo and dye wine workshops, premium tours… Among all this wine tourism offer, Decanter highlights our underwater wines as a differentiating element, describing our underwater wine tasting as “strangely wonderful”.

We offer workshops for you to enjoy a complete wine experience. In our mojo workshop you will learn how to make the famous “Mojo picón with wrinkled potatoes”, accompanied by a tasting or lunch. On the other hand, our vinotint workshop, in which you will learn how to use vegetable resources to achieve the natural dyeing of a silk scarf, including a brunch in our restaurant.

At Bodegas Monje we also organise events for you to enjoy wine in a fun and innovative way. Our Gastroteatro Ley Seca is a play set in a clandestine club in the USA during Prohibition (1922-1933), an event we hold every 15 days where you can enjoy our wines in a different way.
In addition, another of our most popular events is Wine&Sex, an experience where you will dine and taste our wines through an erotic side, with music, performance art and lots of fun.
